Biography:
Worked for the UK's Forensic Science Service (FSS) for ten years during a rapidly changing time in the field of forensic investigation. During this time has been successful in establishing a DNA lab in Kuwait with all associated training required and providing demanding Quality Mangement systems to laboratories in both Europe and the Middle East. The FSS leads the world in DNA technology and expertise, analysing up to 40,000 DNA profiles every month. Now based in Dubai, enabling the promotion and development of FSS technology to forensic laboratories throughout Asia and the Middle East. Additionally, Carlton also promotes the FSS casework capabilities with work being sent for analyisis in the UK from as far afield as New Zealand and Australia.

Following the success of the UK's National DNA Database, (currently standing at 3.3 million offender profiles and 250K crime stains), Carlton has been instrumental in offering this proven DNA database technology to governments around the world.

In the field of Electronic Forensic Science (EFS) Carlton has with him in Hong Kong a remarkable piece of equipment designed and developed by the FSS to enable immediate downloading of mobile telephone data at for examle entry ports and crime scenes. This technology takes forensic science from just purely evidential purposes into the important field of forensic intelligence, particularly important in todays uncertain world.
